We had our second ultrasound at eight and a half weeks. Everything looked good and the heart rate was a fast flutter at 174bpm. We measured 21mm and as Dave pointed out, baby now looks like a little turtle!
It’s a relief to have made it this far. In just a few days baby will be a fetus. I’m feeling a little better this week, and HUNGRY. I’ve been eating matzo ball soup, celery with peanut butter and bagels with cream cheese.
I’m so hungry, I’m even dreaming about food. It’s funny because sometimes I dream about food that doesn’t exist. In one dream, my friend was telling me about this fancy new duck cheese (like goat cheese) that Trader Joe’s carries. In another, I wandered all over France for some traditional watermelon bread. What the heck?!
